The LA Poet Society is a 16 year old non-profit 501(c)3 organization that produces nearly 100 events a year, ranging from Open Mics, Poetry Showcases, Literary Festivals and more! We also participate in literary events and arts happenings all around Los Angeles county, and beyond! We've received recognition from Poets & Writers, LA County Board of Supervisors, the California Assembly, the California Arts Council, and PEN America, to name a few.
We believe in making the liteary arts accessible, visible, and inclusive for all. We prioritize Queer Trans Black Indigenous People of Color (QTBIPOC) creatives. We would love to have you as part of our team.
